Jellyhead has agreed to take me on (even though she hasnt met me yet) but needs to know what to feed me :roll: her friend has shoved all sorts down me neck, I did thank her though by pooping on her shoulder

i would say a wood pigeon . i have seen townie pigeon babies quite a few times an i dont remeber one looking like that .

No way is it a woodpigeon. Its a domestic pigeon, or to be more acurate, its a domestic pigeon gone feral.
You maybe lucky in that it might beyond the stage where it needs to have regurgitated food from its mum. This is known as pigeon milk by the way.
You need to go to the corn merchants and see if you can buy some pigeon corn. There are all types of mixtures with strange names, one of which is 'young pigeon mix' I've just bought a 50lb bag of this at the weekend, if you can't get any tomorrow I'll stick you some in the post but that will obviously take a few days to get to you.

Thanks Bodge. It is apparently looking quite poorly tonite. I have told my friend to get some fluid into it as I dont think its had any :shock: If she is still alive tomorrow I shall pick it up and do me stuff :shock: and hope it works shall let you know how I get on :roll:

Yes Matilda, I either find them or they find me, directly or through friends :roll: just happens but I love it.........OH not always so keen tho but very patient

thats a bit  like me jellybean over here , as i work along side the swan sanctaury  i get all sorts of birds an other things brought to me but this is mostly thoughout the summer months .
