Having made a loaf for new years day scouse i did another today so out came the big mixer and hooks now i never leave the mixer to do its own thing but thought it would be ok to wipe don my benches and put away a few dishes while i waited  i just got acrossthe kitchen when there was a clatter and bang as it shot across the bench and hit the floor feeling rather sick i picked it up my bread dough still inside i set it down and plugged it in and to my releaf it still works phewwww   it had i slight crack in the shell but remarkably unskaithed ive not had it that long .

It seems ok , im doing another loaf sunday so will see hubby took it with good grace i will do it when hes in but if it is browken i wont get a new one in a hurry .

What sort of mixer is it?

I do my dough in the bread maker these days and they live on the floor of the dining room.

Its a heavy one but not as expencive as some ive seen , i got it at lidl with a blender on topits very good 89.00 i think but still gutted if it was browken ive done a loaf just and there were no crackle bangs or juddering hubby has super glued the front and looks as godd as new fingers crossed .
