Went to selby auctions today, I go every time its on ( every two weeks. on a saturday), It was another good one today, alot of nice fancy bantams(Silver laced wyandottes 5 pullets for £20, and a few trios of young Light sussex bantams.) If you want good quality cheap birds head to selby livestock auctions

I managed to get there, next time though we'll go in wellies!

Yes some smashing birds, not too sure of the breeds myself but the red ones at the end on the right were lovelly, nice and alert.

By little boy loved it, watching the piglets being loaded up, the 'horsies' (cows!), and like me loved the miscellaneous, kept asking 'what that'.

There were a load of bunnies just like our Freddy, gorgeous little things.

If i'd had the roofbars on (and some money) i would have snapped up those 2x3 timbers and the plywood and weldmesh

I would have spent loads if i'd been there to buy, all the wood, the wire, maybe the roofing sheets but they were bit big for a fiesta roof to carry, some of the machinery - i could make a genny from one of the old mowers, and there was a sheet metal guillotine i could have used for circuit boards. I very nearly stuck around to try for that rifle bag, my old gat could do with being properly stored.

Maybe after Christmas...

did you get much?
