Caterpillar ID please
« on: August 07, 2018, 15:48 »
Can anybody help to identify these caterpillars please?

They are about 2cm long, entirely black except for a grey stripe down the side.  They're feeding almost exclusively on an untreated brassica crop which the farmer said was Rudge (sp?).

I'm just wondering what they are going to turn into and a Google search hasn't given any answers.

TIA,
Su

I had never even heard of that but after a follow up search I think you're right 😁

Thank you!
