And pork here too, in a savory rice left in the slow cooker while we went to a village meeting.

Tonight it is mushroom risotto, with the stock from the turkey wings earlier in the week.

Last night was lamb and herb burgers, with redcurrant jelly, mash and runners.  No fuss, because I left it v late to start to cook!

Tonight I think it will be a squash, leek and potato gratin, to use up the cream left over from making ice cream...   :nowink:

Tonight is stir-fried beef and onions in oyster sauce, with fridge-clear-out stir fried veg ... and rice.

Oven roasted veg - green onions and asparagus was homegrown, peppers and tomatoes weren't, with oven roasted mackerel fillets and some rice.  Herby yogurt sauce to drizzle over  :)

Lump of topside of beef is in the slow cooker, with mushrooms, shallots and haricot beans.  Slices of beef with some of the juices as sauce later, with roast veggies.

The veg and cooking liquid will be a good filling casserole for later in the week.

Beef mince in a chilli con carne and salad bits, with bread made from  Magna Carta flour from Lammas Fayre Mill. Really tasty bread :)

Lebanese chicken and potatoes, plus some greens on the side.  I really fancied curry, but didn't have time for that.  Could be a plan for tomorrow  :)

I've got a fresh chicken, which I'll quarter today, 3 portions for the freezer. The last portion to be roasted later, with roasties, peas, carrots and spinach.
