Much disgust with my box grater anyone recommend a zester Im guessing the microplane ones are better than the drag type?  I'd like a lemon drizzle cake without huge lump of lemon skin and half my knuckles in

I bought a good one from M&S in their sale for about £3.  It is sold as a Parmesan grater, but is great for zesting.

Microplane zesters and graters are absolutely fabulous. Have had a set for years. Work well, strong and sturdy
I wouldn't swap mine.

if they stand up my constant use they will stand up to anyones.

£9.50 at M&S, and they have a 3 for 2 offer on if you feel like buying a few more utensils!  It iOS a microplane type grater/zester.  Not sure what Lakeland have to offer?

The brand I think. I got mine from Lakeland and they have outlasted all my other graters. And they work so much better than any I other I have tried. Really useful when making a load of lemon curd.

IMO sometimes cheaper works out more expensive in the long run.

Now my knives were very expensive when I married about 38 years ago and they are still going strong.

I'll have a rummage at Amaz*n I tried again last night to do an orange for some carrot cake  spent most of the time brushing the grater with the silicone brush to try and get what little zest there was off.

You won't have that aggro with a micro plane.

I have checked out Amazon and theirs are more expensive and not the same as the ones I got from Lakeland which were £14.99. Lakelands are the ones I have and they are brilliant.

I wont be having that aggro again ! I'm putting it in the same category as stuffing mushrooms (life's too short) ! Especially as the carrot cake came out so dense it could have pass as my mothers bread pudding (not bread and butter pudding).

I need £2.70 more for free delivery ... suggestions on a little something?
