a bit of Help folks, anyone come across this ....
new plants this year. just run up to flower, no plant below.
 really weird looking plants have taken a photo to show you.... what have I done.

They've bolted, probably because of the strange weather this year

Sweet Williams are biennials, They should really have been in their flowering positions last Autumn. I have had them bolt in the past when I have transplanted them in the spring.

thanks for the replys, so just the weather this year.  been a disaster spuds done ok garlic is smaller than when it was planted, lettuce is bolting, beans are doing nothing and strange happenings in the flower beds will hope they all recover for next year

If you cut the flowers Dave the plants might then bulk up and flower again next year

sounds like a plan sunshineband will give them a clip and monitor the progress ... love to experiment !
