I need a fruit press

Hi,
I need some kind of press so I can separate the seeds from currants and blackberries, something which will retain the seeds whilst the juice is extracted.
I made jam recently which kept well but those seeds!

I know that rubbing through a seive is hard work but it's worth it. I have a friend that is a wood turner and she made me a "thing" to do the job easily, it looks like a sort of door knob on a stick and it's much quicker to use than a spoon to rub the fruit pulp through.
