Just cleared one raised bed of the broad beans. Cut them off and left the roots in.
Now I am going to sow a green manure crop to over winter.
Should I dig some manure in first ?

I wouldn't have thought that would be necessary, unless your soil is very sandy or something.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.
