well i am moving back to uk and have some frozen plumand apple cooked down and what i wanted to know is would i be able to make some fruit chutney out of them they are partially cooked with some sugar in there , i dont think i will be making any pies or puddings as we have a load to get through , i know the couple who will take over the house wont use them i dont want to waste them insperation please .

Chutney does call for some sugar, so if you've already added it, then be sure not to add more. there's no reason I can see that what you've made so far can't be turned into chutney. You'd just need to adjust cooking time a bit since yours is partway there already.

yes folks im back used some of the plums and apples in puds and just left the rest for the couple who have the house now .
