how about the cats protection league or doggy charity or even battery hen welfare as we are all animal lovers on here.
As for spring shoots - not a chance with my chickens

Maybe the next one a spring garden? Early shoots of spring or something like that?

We could even have a calender competition and at the end of the year sell them and the profits go to a nominated charity???  :D

We created and sold a photo calender - 12 classes - one class per month themed. April = "showers" (strangely enough - my class but there again you haven't met them!!)

They brought wellies, coats / waterproofs and brollies... colourful.

Doing something similar with plants / gardens / lotties is an interesting notion!  ;)

A photo and a recipe for each month??

Funniest looking veg a la Thats Life! Shot must be taken "on the plot" to ensure authenticity!

There's an idea......
Now where did I read about molds to make certain fruits particular shapes? ;)

It might be a little risky though.......

What about John choosing a veg or flower in season and us entering one or more from our plots.

It could be say 'Your best annual in flower' or 'Your best beetroot'  or even ' 3 veg of your choice from your plot' :)

3 veg of your choice is a really good idea but we'll leave that one until later in the year when people have more choice. :D :D :D

Taking a word as a theme might broaden the horizons: "Relax" or "Success" or "Tidy" ?

Or how about going for something as open as "Artistic".... not necessarily a landscape shot something smaller to give everyone a chance as we don't all live in exotic environments or picturesque places.

Just a thought  ;)
