English stocks

I love these flowers, mainly for their smell,  and so planted 12 in pots to put at the back of my plot.

I ended up planting only three out as the rest died.  The only one that survived flowered and I cut it this week.

Typical that it comes up on the week that I have a streaming cold!

Any tips for getting it right next year?
I get my kicks on Plot 66!

No idea, but I sow stocks in-situ.
