Can anyone tell me why S/P are peppered with holes ?? there grown in a large strawberry container. I've cut all the leaves of once, even all the new ones have it.

Could be little beetles or earwigs.

The plants are this years from a friend, we did give look at all the leaves and moved them around and a white bug flew out bigger than a white fly goodness knows what it was, i shall take a photo at the weekend.
