My Roma tomato plant leaves are drooping.

Not wilting through lack of water, possible the opposite but this one plant is the only one affected.  I noticed it this morning, yesterday it looked fine.  There are only a couple of green tom's left on it but I'd like to know your thoughts for "next time".

Cheers,  Tony.

Hello, it's me againg!  by the wonders of modern technology, I've managed to take a couple of snaps.

Cheers 1once again Tony.

It looks as though they are in a greenhouse.  Did you forget to leave the ventilation / door open, by any chance, when it was too hot?
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Gooed morning Yorkie,
I have an automatic opener thingy and the plant affescted is the only one in the greenhouse 'limping''.
The extensive 'ground cover' are sweet potato runners.

Cheers,  Tony.

If it's not a temporary wilting my guess would be that something has happened to the roots - doesn't seem particularly likely that just one plant could have been seriously over-watered, or that just one plant could have been attacked by something like vine weevil, but you never know.

Might be worth probing around in the compost with a finger of your choice to see if you can discover any more clues...
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

Hello JayG,
as there are so few tom's left on the plant, I think I'll howk it out and into the compost bin.

P.S. nothing wriggling or looking unusual in the ground or on the roots.  Cheers,  Tony.

Shame we don't know the root (or any other) cause.  ::)

(Personally I don't put unsolved sick plant mysteries in the compost bin - just in case...)

I have 4 different tomatoes growing in the greenhouse; all in the same size pot, same side of the greenhouse, same amount of watering / feeding etc yet the Roma is the only one that has developed blossom end rot.  The black cherry as ever is prolific and reliable.
