I like this idea, it will most probably be better than some of the repeats and pap that is already on the TV, definitely more entertaining :D
1 Coral Nick, 1 Rhode Rock, 1 Light Sussex,  2 Speckledy, 1 Columbian blactail, 2 welsummer, 1 Columbine
and 18 ducks/drakes/ducklings mix xxx

I looked into this awhile ago and it wasnt going to be cheap.

Unless you want to hardwire a cam into the coop that is and then its not so bad.  The wireless cams are quite pricy!

Great idea though :)

I bought an £8 wired infra red camera from Lloyds the chemist in a sale. Great for checking the hens on tv before going to bed on a stormy winters night . Unfortunately the cable will not reach the summer pen but most of it is repeats anyway. :)
They are more active on the roost than you would expect but i doubt a broody would be.
Worth getting a wireless infra red for the winter checks alone though.

I will definitely have a look into it, I was thinking maybe one of those baby monitors with a screen might work
