Been in 9 days, hoping they'll soon be through. The cucumbers and courgettes sown at the same time are through, butternut squash also taking their usual time.

Since we spoke this morning, they have started to poke through!

Good good. Sowed some a little earlier, the same time as some monster seed from the USA, the saved seed germinated quicker and is really vigorous, the imported seed has been useless. Of three seeds, two failed to produce a growing tip, and the one left is very small and puny.

I just hope last years AG seeds didn't cross with a courgette, or squash! Be nice to see the saved seed get the win again though, so it's up to you select few. ( you know who you are!)
