Oh Zippy, I'm a complete amateur next to you - only this morning I was having fight with a huge length of netting, only to find it didn't fit down one side when I was convinced it would (and it still didn't fit after I'd sworn at it repeatedly!!!)

I've been close to murderous with munched brasicas now I've discovered its probably the birdies The most I see when I'm at the allotment is the odd sparrow and a blackbird but there must be more.
