Just leave those blueberries well alone there  :D Just give them a mulch of that compost for heathers in spring.

We spent the day at the allotment, most of our beds are now weeded, covered for the winter. We filled our leaf mold cage with leaves. I have three beds left uncovered one has leeks the other has brassicas and the third is for my garlic .
I love this time of the year ...I love the idea of having a break from growing and reading  my gardening books etc.

Even my greenhouse is ready at the moment it only contains some over wintering lettuce and one chilli plant that I have cut down and will leave in there throughout the winter as an experiment!

Jazz !!
