I know some folks find Spinach a bit taxing at times....especially when the days are longer than the nights because it runs to seed so quick, which some may say is preferable, ie. green manuring with it rather than  eating it.....but....if you cut it into strips, sautee it off in it's own juice with a little butter & then add it to a 'Carbonara' sauce, or make one with the Cheese sauce's for Pasta you can get with a little good ham & some mushrooms, you get all the 'colour', all the flavour, all the goodness.  The kids "love" it......especially on Tagliatelli.  Carbonara Verdi a la Tagliatelli ??
......straight lines are for tidy minded people.....

This idea isn't so healthy, but it's realy nice. :D

Cut out the centre stalks and discard, now slice the leaf into strips and then cut the strips into 4" lengths and deep fry, light sprinkle of sea salt and a dash of vinegar. MMMMM.......

Told you it wasn't healthy.

You can do this with any thin leafed veg, i saw Hugh Fearnly Whitingstall do it with seaweed

He's my hero
