Now have full plot!
« on: February 16, 2017, 20:58 »
Just before end of year, my plot neighbour moved away and I asked council for the full plot and took it over. :)
Never expected a full plot as our site is very popular. Miss my friendly neighbour but love having full plot.
Managed to dig some of it over before weather got worse when dug up her potatoe crop, still edible.
Half of it is fruit so have inherited thornless blackberry, more strawberries, a lovely plum tree and gooseberries.
Also have a shed now also which means don't have to have tools in boot of car so cleaner car!
Feel like I can grow so much more now and spread things like squash out more.
Disappointing thing is my greenhouse destroyed in last lot of bad weather  :(
So have lovely big plot now on lovely site plus shed but minus greenhouse  :(
Reearching prices at moment for new greenhouse!

Have been thinking about that but bit worried about it getting torn when windy or blown away.
Although we have quite high hedges, had a lot of problems with my greenhouse and had thought about glass this time.
Think will have a look at prices of polytunnels though. ]
