Sorry for letting her suffer like that but she did die during the night. If another one of my hens does get ill i'l be sure to take her to a vet before it's too late

I'm glad she slipped away quietly in the end Chloe.  Trouble is for the most part chickens don't show they are ill until it's really serious.  If you notice anything out of the ordinary in the future just ask on here and someone will be able to tell you whether it is something to worry about

i believe she got some infection from water
