I have been given loads of seeds should I start them now? In pots or in the ground? I want to use them for attracting insects and nitrogen fixing

Bearing in mind that seeds are falling from ripe pods to the ground about now...... I'd say you could sow them directly.

From seed mine took over two years to reach the height they are now which is approx 3ft but they are strong plants now and they look great  :D patients is the word me thinks good luck  ;)

But they may not germinate until the spring, so don't start worrying about them  ;)
