I just found a dead pygmy shrew in the garden. It had a wond onits side - do you think the chickens got it??  :blink:

Probably, one of mine had a shrew last year, as well as frogs!!!

Shrews are very territorial and will fight to the death so there is a slim chance the hens might not be guilty.
I believe cats can find them distasteful too.
