Went to the "lottie" today and what a difference a week has made to the Elderberries and Blackberries WOW! Squillions of lovely ripe fruits. Sparkys gonna be a busy lad with the wines this year

we have been picking loads of blackberries ,got them in the freezer waitng for apples then lots of apple and blackberry wine

Yep! Same here! A very kind couple have offered to bring over some normal gallon demi-johns from the UK when they arrive here on Sat'day. So, we're off picking allsorts this weekend. The most fantastic news is that my mam & dad and two sisters and their hubbies are here for a short break with us. That and my eldest is bringing his girlfriend to meet the family for the first time for the weekend from Tours too! My cup runneth over! Can't wait. Not seen mam & dad here in two years!
