I'm probably getting a bit ahead of myself here because I only collected my 8 x 6 g/h at the weekend and have yet to put it up, but I can't help getting excited about it.

Of course I want to grow the usual tomatoes. aubergines, peppers, chillies & the like, as wellas cucumbers & perhaps a melon. But what fruit or veg of the more unusual / exotic type can be grown? I'd really like to try something a bit more unusual, but I don't know what - I'm open to ideas

I haven't a clue about more exotic stuff, but from experience I would say that your 8 x 6 will be full just growing the stuff you've already thought of

Because you're yet to put it up, now would be a great time to think about putting a grape vine in, planted at the non- door end with the root ball outside.  Over time it can be trained up to the roof, doesn't take up much space and are surprisingly productive!
