Had a laugh this morning when i went in the chook house,there he was all 5ins of him,, on the perch, head held high, little chest out and wings spread wide, myyoungest pekin/sussex cross cockerel trying his best to sound like a grown-up.well i fell about laughing as the other one joined him.when i bought them breeder wasnt sure what sex they were,well atm ive got 2 cockerels and 2 unknowns.also have a magnificent white cockerel and 4 females,3 brown and 1 white,so will have to make some more pens,to separate the males.
good job ive plenty of space and wood to make pens.

it has put a smile on my face all day,and it certainly shut the big lad up,he usually crows on and off all day ,he,s probably wondering where the noise is coming from.

For some reason it reminded me of my nephew telling me to leave his sister alone (I was the tickling monster) - hands on his 5 yr old hips and very very serious
