japanese ? call the council its on the  special treatment list and THEY HAVE TO SORT IT OUT BY LAW  ................

I've got it on the very edge of my plot.
I've found that glyphosate will keep it under control if you spray it weekly. The council are supposed to be dealing with it (it comes in from adjoining land) There's laws about it - you're not allowed to put it into skips etc.
Blame some Victorian pillock for it.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

yes,i've manage to keep it down by mowing,but the joining plots no one bothers with them so it grows like f...!

does that council law work if they are private houses??

well i had a lot until i renovated the site a few years ago,but two gardens on one side and one on the other have it and it just grows to about 8 ft in the summer!!!

report it to the council as its down to them to get it controlled mate it has to be done under a special licence , if you have it your obliged by law to report it
