Good Evening Everyone

Had a great day digging up at my allotmet today, (I think im one of the lucky ones with well drained soil, probably haunt me in the hot summer!)

Got upto half way so far !! Its not been used for year so the digging is increadilbly hard work, One fork = a handfull of roots , weeds etc.
Spent about 20 hours digging ovet the last few months.

My question , I planted garlic back in October 06, it started to grow incredibly quick, all looks good on top, not sure whats happening below!
I read the packet today and gives no indication at all when the garlic will be ready, Does anyone know when it usually ready to dig up please??

This depends on the variety,usually june/july when the foliage starts to die back.
