any ideas to weed proof path between plots?

hi to all
has anyone got any ideas to weed proof the path btween my bay's just started so bit of a green horn ....many thanks in advance ..............cheer

flags work, if you can get any. People seem to pull them up and skip them all the time.

Also straw (as a lighter/cheaper alternative) - but slugs like it underneath, so its a tradeoff).

landscape fabric with mulch on works great for me

Landscape fabric with bark chippings if you want to do it on the cheap as most councils give them away, only problem is they get blown all over when it is windy

If you can find old board lengths, you can use them for a while. I put old poly feed bags under my mulch - they last longer. Chippings are usually free.
