The other turkey pie (I made 2 earlier in the week), with cabbage, runners and buttered marrow.

Tonight - assuming I can get to the shed - will be vegetable (lentils, peas, mushies etc) stuffed marrow on buttered potatoes.

Addition :  that sounded a bit dull and worthy, so some parsnip was added to the potatoes, and some small spicy sausages cooked between the slices of marrow with the whole lot topped off with crunchy cheese.  It twas good - and not at all worthy!   :)

While in the Co op this morning to get the paper and milk, I succumbed to the lure of a beef & ale pie   ::)
I'll rummage in the freezer for some veg to go with it. CBA fairy reigns supreme today, obviously

We are all into comfort eating ...   :)

Tonight is pizza ....  I'll prep the bases before we go out for an early evening drink and then finish them when we get back, to mop up the beer.

I had to top up the mince pie tin ..  ::)  ..  so a meat and veg pie was added to the oven (filling from the freezer ie left over casserole!).  Roast pots and squash, runner beans to complete.   :)

Tonight will be a big beef casserole, onions frying off in in the slow cooker as I type.  Mash or couscous on the side, depending if I can face more cold water this evening.
