Last night was hm pizza, salad & chips
Tonight it's roast lamb & stock out of the freezer. Will probably end up as a mini roast dinner as hubby is up at our son's taking the roof off so will need a good hearty meal methinks

I love home made pizza 🙂 :tongue2:

I have so much cabbage and courgettes that it's got to be one or the other or both.

Yes our pizzas get simpler as the years go by, he has anchovies on his & me mushrooms if we've got them, plus the mozzarella & homemade tomato topping, bit of basil & we're e done

with spicey vegetable rise  :)

I know what you meant, but I have a lovely picture of you chasing your tea round the kitchen with a net

We had sliced plot spuds and onions, slow baked with stock. olive oil and lemon juice, then crisped up on top.  Roast chicken thighs and homegrown french beans to go with them  :)

It was Liver and fried onion gravy with loads of our veg and new potatoes yesterday for lunch and welsh rarebit for tea.

Roast beef today with Yorkshire puddings.
Our home grown frozen roast potatoes and frozen parsnips.
Picked this morning;
Runner, Broad, French cobra and Hunter beans
Turnips
Baby carrots from patio.
Charlotte new potatoes.

Swapped a big bowl of French beans for a neighbours spring cabbage.

Our raspberries served with some homemade yogurt mixed with ice cream

More of the potato bake as I made 2 while I was at it yesterday, oven roasted courgette and tomatoes which had been lightly covered in olive oil and a bit of balsamic vinegar and pork steaks.

Picked up a reduced chicken in Sainsbugs so I'll roast that, and our first digging of Charlottes plus whatever veg is screaming when I go down later .... Hmmm.... beans, mange touts, courgettes, cabbage, chinese cabbage, pakchoi.... we'll see!

Stripped the roast (bargain) chuck from last night, so there is cold meat in the fridge, stock in the slow cooker and I am making a chicken and veg pie for tonight with the bits and using up the mushrooms that were starting to look sad. Not bad for £3.19!  Steamed freshly dug charlottes, chinese leaves for greens and maybe some sautéed yellow courgettes on the side.
