Oh Lardman, and it's British Pie Week! what a let down...

I know - I've really dropped the ball, even I can't make a pie with what's left in my fridge.

Fish Pie. no thanks. Fish is best cooked on its own.
Fish on Sunday and ruin the chance of not having a Roast, Nooooooooooooo!

Anyway, in the spirit, after our Steak and Kidney casserole, got out a HM Apple pie from the freezer and served with loads of custard.

Each to their own!  Anyway, you have all inspired me and it is fish pie here tonight.  With purple kale - it is a lovely day and I could do with an excuse for a walk to the lottie.

Haha, we have a roast anyday. My parents never got used to us not always having a roast on a Sunday 😊

Yes but I bet it's a lot better?

Not 4 times better  ::) although it didn't shrink to nothing either so cooked weight for weight it was probably twice the price.

Did you happen to get anything else for another night? We do worry about you !

I need to get 7 meals from the piggy to make it economical... but yes I also picked up some mince beef, some chicken, some faggots and some pet mince for Max..  ::) I left the shop with my wallet considerably lighter.

The chickens have finally started to lay again so I might treat myself to egg, chips and beans tomorrow  :nowink:
