Just making a half and half loaf for welsh rarebit, sardines and grilled mushroom on toast.

Made a load of flapjack to munch on after.

Chip shop! Now is it fish or pie and chips???
Cheers
Aled

It was southern fried chicken and chips from the chippy for us last night, making our way home late.
Tonight it is risotto made with turkey stock with the last of the salami chopped in it and some hunter beans from the freezer for colour.

The CBA fairy has taken up residence here - I look in the freezer and cant think of a thing I want to cook ... :(

Quite a heavy frost here this morning, so trowel had to come to the rescue to break the ground to pull up some leeks and parsnips. Even the brussels sprouts and some tops took some pulling off.
Roast lamb today, some desiree from the potato shed.
Picked some froze mint for some mint sauce.
Bought swede and carrots.

Rhubarb has made an appearance in garden, not ready for picking but pulled some of last years from the freezer to have with custard.

I've got to go to work later, so we are having roast chicken leg, baked potato, cabbage and spoon standing in a bit. The shift is from 4pm until we finish.  I don't like the sound of that, so decided some stick to your ribs food was needed for lunch

Roast lamb for us, decided we must use up some of last years veg from out of the freezer to make way for this year's glut (she hopes).  Found carrots, broad beans and runners.  Bought potatoes as we don't have room for them in the garden.

Tray roast of sausages found in the freezer, with red onions (bought), parsnip, pots, swede and squash chunks.  Spoon standing on the side.  That should do it.   :)

Cherry pie .  You'll have us all knocking on your door if you carry on like that

Wagyu burgers, wedges and hm coleslaw here.  I might spice the slaw dressing up with something spicy as well  :)

Fish pie here - not as good as cherry pie!  With cabbage that has come back from the plot and is now defrosting ....

Was going to be a lamb curry tonight with left over roast lamb, but Lidl had a bag of Aubergines for 55p.
So made a Moussaka instead.
