I can't wait for the smells of the crushed apples and the first drink of the apple juice straight from the presses.

We will be having a grand meeting of friends to take part in the labour heavy but rewarding experience.

The apples are starting to accumulate ready for Saturdays event. My mate Taffy has just dropped four boxes of what look like cookers off for me

I have my own apple trees to pick plus three in a nearby town. My mate from Wiltshire will be turning up on Saturday with his family and there will be loads of my local friends. I must check that we have an adequate supply of aspirins in.
