How do you make a cider fizzy?

I was looking at a recipe on the net for Turbo Cider.

The METHOD ended with 'Rack off and drink ( or if you like cider fizzy then prime as usual)'

I understand 'rack off and drink', especially the latter, but I am lost when it mentions 'priming fizzy cider'. I'd be grateful if someone could educate me. :?
Cast your bread upon the waters ... and you'll have soggy bread!

Bottle it in a strong bottle with just a touch of sugar added.  Leave until fizzy before drinking

Cheers whisky_golf.

So, how much is a 'touch' if you happen to be bottling 500 ml?

If you were bottling to a 2 litre bottle, would you just multiply that amount by 4, or is there a special rule?

For 2l, I agree.

Thing is that cider will continue to ferment itself and we don't want your bottles exploding.  Or don't you reckon any will stay in the bottle more than 3 months??

Try to give it more than 3 days though

I seem to remember leaving homebrew 6 weeks after bottling.

The original recipe for 'Turbo Cider' devsied by Deadlydes was

Ingredients:
   4.5 of pure apple juice
     1 tsp yeast

Method:
1. Place 3 li of Apple Juice into a demijohn(assuming everything is sterile)
2. Place 1 tsp yeast into the demijohn
3. Shake
4. Leave for 36-48 hrs to ferment then top up with remaining of the juice( can't fill right up at the start as it will foam quite a bit)
5. Leave to fermment out
6. Rack off and drink ( or if you like cider fizzy then prime as usual) *

I thought I would try this out and I was very pleased with the results, it is sssooooo easy.

I used Tesco value apple juice and S.G was 1.042 so no sugar was necessary ( to get 5.5% ish) but if you want cider stronger add sugar/honey or whatever.

End of original recipe

* Half a teaspoon sugar per pint, easiest to use plastic 'pop' bottles (release excess gass if they are bulging).

Tesco Value juice a couple of years ago used to be less than 40p/litre, but has increased substantially in price since then (and all the other supermaket juice), so I only make 'Turbo Cider' when I can get carton juice for about 45p/litre and I mix it with 10% (frozen) pressed carb apple juice.

The "Fizzy" bit is secondary fermention that occurs in the bottle too much sugar and you'll get some spectacular results and have to repaint your ceiling!
