Just out of interest how much smaller is a banty orps egg compared to an average large fowl egg?

Beyonce's egg is the smaller one on the left and the one on the right is a medium sized supermarket egg JaK

I'm chuffed to say my last hen Roxy started to lay today so all 4 are now laying.  We were told she might lay blue eggs - this one has a definite tint of green in it and is definitely different from the other 3.

Ive had a sudden increase in egg production from my girls this last week, partly Im sure due to the warmer weather. Im just worried now that the new cold snap is going to put them off again. Poor birdies, they dont know whether they are coming or going do they!

but the days are getting longer and that is what helps with egg laying
