Hi Christian

I was like you only 18 months ago. I had to clear 20ft of brambles at the bottom of my plot but got the rest planted first.

It was a lot of hard work at first but I'm with Tully as to the camping cooker and coffee and a good garden seat once the work done and the hubby ( who pales at the mention of garden ) thinks I put such a lot of hard work into it ha ha

You will decide how many hours it takes ... then you'll take how many hours you want !!

Happy gardening

.

Just seen and taken on my plot.  Manager said that no one has grown on it in 3 years but it was sprayed 3 times last year.  Some quite high gras stuff on it.  he advised that I just dig it over.  Does this sound right?  After that start planting.

Can anyone offer any advice to get the ready.

Cheers       :)

Christian, dig it over mate, and as your digging, throw out all the roots you see and make sure you bury all the green stuff, the hoe will do the rest when they start growing again, which they will, where are you mate, may'be i could pop up and look at it for you. :)

mum of 3 - certainly is nice to here I know where you are.

Mercury - it is at North Fev just after or before the garage depending on which way you come.  It is plot number 6 with the back against the road.  I am going to give some digging ago next sat.    I will do as you say and dispose of roots etc.  Thanks for your advice.  :)

Hi mum of 3, my Dad lives near to you and I used to live near the traffic lights at the end of Agbrigg Rd.
