Gutter garden
« on: November 13, 2012, 21:07 »
Evening all. Used a length of guttering to start my peas off this year, a fellow plot holder suggested I use the gutter for gardening at home. Done a bit of research and I quite like the idea of mounting it on the wall and growing salad stuff in it. Can anyone offer any advice on the best way for me to safely attach to the wall or build some kind of frame?

There's some good info here:   LINK

Depending on your situation, you can nail the guttering onto a shed or wall, or use the actual gutter hangers, or build your own wooden support brackets.

There are some quite large sections of'square' guttering around.

Not much soil, I think you would be watering every hour or so!

Cheers,   Tony.
