Title: While looking for the plant stand I found this clever idea. :)
Post by: Patricia on May 15, 2009, 10:24: Hi all, I was looking for the circular plant stand holder on the net, (not having much luck) but I came across this and thought I wouls share with you all. I think it is a clever way of recycling and also saving on space. :)

Didn`t wait till next year, a length of box section steel is now screwed to my greenhouse staging above tomato height. Should take a dozen cartons with pots, ideal to keep the squashes out of the way. :)

Post by: mumofstig on May 15, 2009, 19:29: Haven't made a stand but did do all my runners in cut down milk carton pots, i find them easier than paper pots and they're just as cheap :lol:

Have to start looking for offcuts to make a stand now :)

I disagree - it's really nicely made with lots of little features. If I made one it wouldn't be half as nice!

I rigged up a single batten version in the greenhouse last year and it worked well. :)
