I paid £6.50 for my last bag at the farm  last time it was £5.50 last year £4.50.
Any of your local farms have a shop ? thats where I get mine.

We get ours from the local farmer's co-op
-
Because we have to get ours in bulk from the mill, our last layers pellets were £4.79, but they are £5.70 down the road

I had a good result at our local corn merchants today :D The last bag of mixed corn I had was extremely dusty. I mentioned it as I ordered some more and the chap gave me two bags for nothing and said that he would report the problem. He then asked me if I wanted two bags of sugar beet shreds for the price of one and he gave me two bags that had been ripped. I love a bargain, it gives me a warm glow.

I doubt now you'll find Mixed Corn any cheaper than £5 for 20kg and Layers Pellets £6 for 20kg.
Try Yellow Pages under Animal Feed Stuffs & Additives or Horse Supplies.

I get my layers pellets from an agricultural shoppe and last time I paid £10 for 2x20KG and I get the corn from a farm for £3 for 20KG
-
Don't tell him that market price (ex-farm) for feed wheat is currently £174pt - £3.50 / 20kg.

i buy layers pellets from Bocm pauls, farmgate layers pellets. They are animal feed suppliers, they were cheaper than my local pet shop. They have a website to find your nearest supplier.
