Dellorto 2013A main jet
« on: March 20, 2017, 06:50 »
Hi everyone I'm new to this page.My name is Jason from Malta. Lately I bought a Tecumseh BVL198 engine with a faulty carburetore. It seems that the previous owner tried to remove the main jet for some cleaning but he ruined the main jet head because it was seized and couldn't take it out so he sold me the whole engine as for parts or repairs. Now the only way to removed it after some tips from the internet was to to drill it   :(  .Now the help i need from you please is what was the size of the main jet and from where can i buy 1? A local shop suggested that the 2013E carburatore will fit without problems but i don't know. Any help and links will be appreciated. Thank you all.Regards

When and if someone has an answer they will reply, until then I'm afraid you can only wait and hope.

Try searching on here http://www.tecumsehcarburetorguide.com/how-to-guide/.
You should be able to buy a jet on flea bay.
May the fork be with you

Thanks alot for your help but with several e-mails with this company they suggested to me that this carburetor can replace the FHC 2013A model without problems, i  will receive it next week and see what happens.        http://www.newtechautomotive.com/fr_fr/pieces-tuning?product_id=59905
