Title: Rust removal
Post by: noshed on April 09, 2018, 15:16
On rescuing my tools from my old shed, some were quite rusty/ I found cider vinegar surprisingly effective. Soak overnight and brush off later. I'm trying to work out how to do some of the bigger ones - I might try just wrapping them in vinegary cloth

One tin of black treacle dissolved in a gallon of water, but it does go for the steel so don't leave for too long.
