marrows?

ok.. so i got a seed from one of the old timers at the alloetment..so i put it in a pot, then to a bigger bucket, then the arms?? got to big, so i stuck it in my garden.. i have like... 3 yellow flowers... whare is the food?? what do i need to do? do they Need feeding, or can i just leave it to do its own thing?

i dont think i like to eat marrow, just growing it Just to see.. lol..
so, should i just leave him be now??

Dig a pit 2ft square and deep. Fill with well rotted manure, place the soil on top to make a mound and pland in that. Keep well watered, pick when small for courgettes or leave to grow into a marrow.

Welcome to the site  :D

If you don't have ready access to manure, enrich the soil with any other compost you can find and some fertiliser - chicken pellets, or fish blood & bone, or growmore.  They are very hungry and thirsty plants.

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
