Curious form of taste testing of potatoes
« on: January 09, 2009, 15:30 »
I had four big flower pots with sorted spuds in them in the shed. One charlotte, one desiree, one pink fir apple, and one pentland javelin. It might have been that only one pot was accessable, but I couldn't see any major difference between them, but one variety was a clear winner in the mice's taste trials. Have a guess which one the mice liked best then scroll down for the answer. ;) You might be surprised,   or you might not. lol

Charlotte
I demand the right to buy seed of varieties that are not "distinct, uniform and stable".

The mice just agree with me..........that they're the tastiest spuds :)
