When I had my ducks, I used to cut a square hole out of a 4pt milk container (on the side opposite the handle and then use it as a feeder hung by a bit of twine from the handle on the inside of the ducks fence.  Keep the lid on the container and it keeps the rain out too!

and if you crush the plastic leaf together where it joins the bottle you have a weather guard roof piece  :wink:

My mum does something similar except she fills with bird feed and hangs them from a tree :D
