Title: lack of eggs
Post by: floyd's gran on June 19, 2008, 14:44
We have 12 hens, the first 6 are probably all laying, but we only get 5 eggs a day.  The younger 6 are now approx 21 weeks old and all have red faces and combs.  Should they be laying?

Shame, as the older (Lohmans) all started at about 19-20 weeks!  We'd had hopes that these (bluebells, daisybelles and speckedlies) would be up and running just as quickly.
