My dog hated his halti but got used to it. We did try the muzzle but it made his behaviour worse so we had to kick that into touch. Glad we did as you don't want to muzzle a dog if it's not 100% necessary do you.  It's a real problem and I feel for you. You are obviously doing your level best for your dog. They do manage to outwit all the time though don' they.  Crafty devils  :) 

Your dog is very young and hopefully it will be something he will grow out of  :)
