Hi all has anyone grown this pud in the past . If so is there any tips pointers , etc to a good crop . I have planted six kilos back in late March.
All doing well , Hope for a few pointer .

I think your right there. I have heard they dont grow to well in the sunny,
South . Lots of water on the menu.

They used to be grown locally I think, as golden wonder used to be based at market harborough.

ive got a relative in hartlepool and thats all he grows he swears by em

They are certainly tasty and fetch higher prices than most other varieties.  They seem less popular as a GYO.  I've heard it said that they appreciate the deeper cultivation that can be made on a farm scale.

I believe you will find that the Golden Wonder is a variety of crisp and not a pud.  Best of luck however. 8)  :lol:

I used to work in a helium gas factory, but I walked out, no one talks to me like that.
