Shallot sets
« on: February 07, 2013, 12:31 »
Please could someone advise me...  My shallot sets have just been delivered and they're in clumps.  Should I split them (like with garlic) before planting or do I plant the whole thing?  I'm new to this - you'd never guess would you! :)

Split them and plant them individually.

This guide may help you:

Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Many thanks.  I had checked out the growing guide but it didn't answer my question - but you did - so thanks again. :)
