Dehydrators
« on: July 02, 2010, 16:04 »
Anyone got a cheap one they can recomend. Dehydrators that is.

Don't tell me off for repeating myself or bumping will ya, I know I am impatient, BUT my question may of got lost in my long waffle before, so thats my justification. Big smile  :)

I'm gonna waffle again now BUT went in Robert Dyas and asked if they sold them, woman looked at me as if I came from Mars, and said I've never heard of such a machine are you sure they exsist, I could feel her eyes piercing me as I left.

I was wondering wether to put this in chatting on the plot or here.

Well I was having a google as you do, and they seem common bits of kit for camping hiking people.  One or two of them said they got one for £28 to £30 squid and some got them from QVC.  So I will carry on investigating.  Seems they aren't that popular here yet, as in France thanks Casey or America.

Hubby bought mine from a Juice company in York if I remember correctly. It wasn't a cheap one though as it was my 40th present so he bought me a decent one. I believe that Amazon have some of the round ones for about £30, a friend has one and uses it a lot

just looked on Amazon and they don't have any cheap ones at them moment but they do sometimes have some worth keeping a look out

Not yet, but might as a last resort.  OH is a civvy in the police and has to ring people back who have reported a crime and he has so many flea bay done victims, its puts me off a bit.  But never say never.

Theres one on Amazon for £60.  Just got to research reviews or there Juiceland.co.uk which I think is purplebean is talking about.  Still looking around for that £30 squider though first.
